Breathing Tour Day 7 at the Globe Academy

We were able to listen to our breath at Globe Academy. And we felt listened to as well.

Real communication is the ability to listen. It’s such a challenge!

To communicate is an art, it’s a deep art that is practiced here in both listening and speaking in different languages. They celebrate difference and unity.

We began in Christina Lane’s {Mandarin Track} Kindergarten class.

What does Joy sound like?

What does it sound like to wash in what we need and wash out what we don’t?

Power to our ears to listen well!

Rooting into our individual self and rising up to connect with others.

The first place to study is ourselves.

Balance ourselves with our breath so intercommunication can be real, honest, direct, subtle.

We got to breathe with Michelle Comstock’s {Spanish Track} first graders.

We celebrated that we can communicate with anyone.

You can elevate anyone.

If you want to make some progress in the caliber of your communication,

we have to get our interconnection and intercommunication moving. And we did!

Extend. Expand. Reach. Release.

Wash In. Wash Out.

Wake Up.

Root to Rise.

We sealed our breath work with a laughter milkshake!

We journeyed to the upper school to first breathe with Claire Freedman’s fourth graders.

Her confident and kind students took turns leading the four breaths. Each child chose whether to stand up, sit or lie down. Most of them took of their shoes to get more grounded and rooted. How cool is that!

Erica Marsh and Vivian Eckmann welcomed us into their room to breathe with their inquisitive and respectful students.
